TRULY a classic. I loved learning about what it was like to live in Brooklyn during this era through the lens of a child. Would reread for sure.

i thought the slow pacing of this book would hold me up, but i was just so endeared to francie and the way she saw the world around her that i found myself wanting to read “just one more paragraph, one more chapter” every opportunity i got. what a simple and sweet story.
