ok i REALLY liked this book. i truly don’t know why i’m withholding the 5-stars, i just don’t feel like it’s a 5-star book for me.

but that being said this was a REALLY good book. i loved the characters, loved the story, loved the diversity, loved the growth just AHHHHH.

actually i just figured out why it’s not 5-stars for me. watching ppl self sabotage really gets to me. like i just hate it. when someone has a clearly good thing in front of them and they just r willing to throw it away. i get irked.

which i think that the fact that i’m still able to give this book such high praise when self sabotage it running rampant through this book, speaks volumes.

just a really cute, amazing book

Talia Hibbert does it again! This book is a perfect friends-to-lovers with amazing spicy scenes. I know some people find friends-to-lovers a little boring, but the passion, events, and character development keep this book engaging from page 1 to the end. I love Talia Hibbert's ability to write lovable characters with realistic character flaws and progressive character development. This book features a diverse cast and my favorite: a happily ever after. The banter between characters had me laughing out loud. i finished this book in one day! (It has light mentions of alcohol dependency and discussed parental death and parental neglect).

A great book with loveable characters. I mean Rahul has my heart, soul and everything in between. Slow burn with lots and lots of spice

A classic Talia Hibbert story. Girl who doesn’t know how to love and boy who loves too hard. And lots of sex. Overall, an easy and entertaining read!

Why has it taken me so long to read Talia Hibbert? Everything she writes is absolutely consuming.

I love the themes of self improvement and growth for both of these characters.

And the peaks into their past as we see their present day relationship evolve really makes the friends to lovers aspect feel authentic.

(The spice was also incredible and I love a bossy Rahul.)

I liked the book. I didn’t like Jasmine, because even as just a friend she was kind of shitty and seemed to take advantage of Rahul a lot. In the whole book I can’t remember them doing something that he considered fun, everything was for her. I do love that she realized her issues were holding her back and hurting others, and she went to therapy! 🎉 So few characters go to therapy for issues they can’t solve on their own, and I love that this author embraced that solution.

This easily loses half a star for putting the epilogue under what is essentially a spam paywall. You have to provide and verify your email, and check a box to agree to receive “marketing emails.” Such crap.
