A lovely and painful way to see how all the small things add up. I was transporting in a story that could feel mundane told another way, but having both perspectives and small glimpses into Malcolm and Jess’s story, watching it unfold and and weave back together again, was done so beautifully. I love how this was written, and how a single sentence could take my breath away, taking me into exactly what a character was feeling.
