Oh this part two was so good!

Jesse is trying to get Willow back by any way he can. Willow is still trying to get her memory back from that awful night.

Willow spends time with Jesse to see if she can start remembering things from the past while trying not to fall in love with him.

Oh the mystery in this book is so good! I love their love story!

Book two in the Symphony of Sound Duet.
This book was a great conclusion to Willo and Jesse's story.
I couldn't put this book down.
The suspense kept me on my toes the entire book, always wanting to know what happens next, and also wanting to know how their love story will develop, especially after the way book 1 ended.
This book had so many layers that were revealed throughout the story.
Both characters had grown so much through the book and revealed themself to us layer by layer.
We get to know what really happened on that mountain all those years ago, and we also learn Jesse's story, and why he is the way that he is.
This book was very emotional, and full of love.
All the emotions of the characters were written with such great sensitivity and you feel like you can see right into their souls.
It was different from other stories and focused on the way these characters dealt with their trauma.
Katherin put her heart and soul into this book and it shows.

“You bring me peace and you gave me something I never thought I’d have, I never thought I wanted. You helped me love."

- Second book in duet
- Second chance
- Pro hockey player x small-town gift shop owner
- Romantic suspense
- Dual POV

I’m so glad we didn’t have long to wait between these two books. The Sound of Forever picks up where The Sound of Silence ends, with extra flashbacks as we come closer to the truth of what happened that fateful night 12 years ago.

Firstly, sweet Jesse broke my goddamn heart. He didn’t think he deserved Willow when really she was exactly who he deserved – someone who accepted and cared about him more than anyone. She also deserved him, someone who made her feel seen. "You're my missing piece."

He was patient with Willow but also didn’t give up fighting for her because it’s always only been her 🥺. “You’re my everything, Willow. Thank you for making me whole again.” Did I also mention he's a protective and possessive hockey player who loves seeing her in his jersey and moves her in bed so he sleeps closest to the door?

The character growth and the way they both transformed in this book was a joy to see after all the heartbreak. You have grumpy Jesse becoming happy Jesse, which was so fun! Then you have Willow taking back control of her life and standing up for what she wants.

This was such a fantastic romantic suspense duet that I would recommend it to everyone! Thank you to Katherine for the early copy 🫶🏻.

I loved this conclusion to Willow and Jesse's story. It was emotional and heartbreaking and raw and real and it was everything Katherine Jay is known to bring in her writing. Every minute of this book was an emotional journey to find their happiness and peace.

Willow grows so much in this one, and it was amazing to watch her fight her battles and win. She is so resilient and strong. Jesse also had a ton of character development. He worked on fighting his demons, and come up on top.

These two just snatched up my heart and didn't give it back. I loved their soulmate connection and the everlasting feeling of forever they had between them.

This one didn't come without tears and suspense. I was always waiting for the shoe to finally drop and what was going to happen when it did.

A beautiful ending to an emotionally raw duet.

The Sound of Forever is book two of The Symphony Of Sound duet. This book must be read after The Sound of Silence, as this book picks up right where book one leaves off.
I’m going to keep this one a little vague, as I think going in spoiler free is the best!

Katherine gave us something wonderful with this story, and I have so much love for Jesse and Willow. This story was jam-packed with all the emotion you could ask for which made for such a beautiful read. I felt so connected to these characters and their story, the growth that both Willow and Jesse showed was amazing, and the amount of strength Willow has, you can’t help but root for her.

I love this author’s writing, I was completely emerged in this book, wondering what would happen next and if these two would get the happily ever after they both deserve. The little bit of suspense thrown in there had me on the edge of my seat. There is even a couple small twists I didn’t even see coming.

Not only was this book one heck of a finale, but the duet together is fantastic. I don’t know if I will ever really be ready to leave these two, I have a feeling they’re going to stay on my mind for a long time to come. I highly recommend this one-such a beautifully told story. If I could’ve highlighted the whole book, I’m sure I would’ve.

If you love Katherine’s writing as much as I do, make sure that you check out her heartstring series for more angsty, emotional, football romance books.

I cannot wait to see what we get next from this author. I have loved all of her books, but she truly did something special with this duet. It is a must read.
