Honestly RC Bray carries the audio book. 

You really need to suspend all disbelief. As this Sci-Fi action thriller has no grounding in any science at all.

Corny as heck. I enjoyed reading it well enough. Felt a lot like a video game. Feels weird to call such a bleak, dark book fun, but... I had fun!
