Never did I think I’d encounter a series with so much spice that I physically recoil at the slightest hint of it happening again, beseeching the heavens with a raised fist and ragged cry of, “AGAIN?! Why!”
This series had me out here actually praying for plot.

While I’m glad they had their happy ending, I’m wished there would have been a little bit more story line and less „playing“ around.

Every other chapter was spice…pregnancy trope and all. It was a conclusion…not satisfying but more like “yeah okay I guess that happened” soooo many warnings I don’t want to even list

What's the deal with the grandparents?! I read Hunted first which is the prequel telling Violet's story. This woman was running from her abusive husband, got a whole new identity, went back to her home country and lived there for 17 years. And yet she never reached out to her parents. Her father apparently has ties to MI6 which we saw in action with the final arrest of Julian. He clearly could have helped her or at least kept her secret so they could stay in each other's lives. It was HEAVILY implied in Hunted that she did not trust them because this was an arranged marriage. And yet, when Lilly finds them, everything is great and they're all supportive??? This was a string that did not get tied up in the end and it made no sense to me. I could not stop thinking about it and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. But it never did.

Eh. Same criticisms as the first two. Inconsistent plot. Imabalanced smut to plot ratio. Weird internal monologue.
I liked this one better than the other two, but that’s not saying much.

I’m incredibly surprised I made it this far. This book was simply not good. It was 10% plot and 90% unnecessary sex. I don’t know if I’ve ever read a book where the sex scenes honestly just annoyed me. Every single little issue had to be resolved with sex. Also, the pregnancy/baby situation was gross and borderline problematic.
The ending felt cheap. Ryan, Tom, Rosa, and Enzo all the sudden are involved/related? It makes no sense. It was unnecessary and rushed.
I’m so glad this series is over.
