I'm boning up on books about Utah's "Mighty 5". I've been to Bryce Canyon and Zion (don't let anyone tell you that 114 degrees isn't so bad because its dry heat; any type of heat at 114 degrees is damn hot!)
It should be a little cooler in late September when I travel to Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef National Parks. Lowe's little book has beautiful pictures of Arches and Canyonlands.
