Not as intriguing as the original books. You could kind of guess what was going to happen about mid-way through the book.

Lagercrantz’ style is rather close to Stieg Larssons, which I am glad about, since I enjoyed reading Larsson’s books. I also enjoyed this title, though a little less than the other ones of the series. The plot is still good, however there are some lengthy passages that were unnecessary and did not drive the story forward as pointedly as I’d have liked it, and as it has been happening in the other books of the series. 4 out of 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this next book in the series. It reminded me a lot of the earlier Millennium books. I like that we’re finding out more and more about Salander’s history as the series is taking on new mysteries, and still focusing on favorite characters. A definite recommended read.

En noget rodet oplevelse.

This one was crazy!!!! Fascinating

another sucess!
it was a little different from the others and i loved the fact that there was such an time-fitting theme to one part of the story and also how it was explored.

*one little thing: in the next one, lets leave Salanders childhood alone, shall we? lets give her a case that will unearth exactly nothing new about the already abundant horrors she went through, please
adventurous mysterious medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This was might least favorite of the Millennium series thus far. The initial set up felt forced and we once again find Blomkist and Salandar teaming up in mysterious ways. Just not as gripping as the others.

I put it down for a little while as "bad things" were happening and it made me nervous. finally picked it back up again and finished it off. good.

Grade: B+

A thrilling read, love the twists and turns, still absolutely in love with the characters and their development of stories.
