It was a nice meditation on connection in the face of vastness. I liked the haziness between dreams and waking, but the pacing in parts was uneven, and the ending wasn’t really compelling after such a promising build-up. It did also unfortunately commit the sin of “male main character falls in love with the least dimensional woman character possible for no discernible reason,” which was irritating and immersion-breaking. Unless he was falling in love with the ocean which, if the intended conclusion, was not explored in any interesting detail.
