I wish books like this were around when I was a young adult. Captivating, fun, and at times sad.

I liked this children’s series. The theme was resilience, which all these kids were. They had some awesome adults in their lives which helped them to be resilient. I loved the coach in these books. He said “...sometimes I gotta be who I am for you to know it’s okay to be who you are.” Man! What a statement to live by. I would recommend this for young readers.

Jason Reynolds is an amazing writer!

"We can be good, We can be better."

Recently I have had a good experience with middle-grade books especially from the works of Jason Reynolds.

It is worth spending your time with the point of view of a middle-grade kid. There is always something to learn from their ideology and stand. It always struck and move me and reflect on a lot of aspects of life.

This book rocks because the main characters have some choices and decisions in life at an early stage.

One of the things that I love in this book is when Lu's parents decided to give their son the greatest opportunity that most parents do when raising a kid(curious about it? Then I suggest reading this book).

Rating it as 4 Wonderful Stars. I will continue to read the other books as they related to each other with a different POV of Characters.

I adore this series, but I have to say this was my least favorite of the four. Still, Reynolds is such an amazing writer and character builder. I have no doubt millions of kids will love Lu. I highly recommend it and all the books in the Track series to readers 10-14.
