Best parts about this book are the constant references to Dr. Marie Curie (who I wrote a paper about in middle school and worshipped) and the validation of being a woman in STEM. From thereon out, you can't really go wrong.

Get u a man as pathetically in love with you as Levi is with Bee. Get u a girl as intelligently stupid about that love as Bee is with Levi. Get you some cats to keep you both company.

Ali Hazelwood owns my soul. She writes loveable enticing and flawed characters; they pull you in because you can relate to them and you feel like you are going through this all with them. She combines humor, romance and smut for an brilliant read.

I read The Love Hypothesis about a year ago, and while I enjoyed it, I didn’t quite understand the rave reviews surrounding it. That being said, I think it was because of the age gap between the two mc’s, since the power dynamic seemed unbalanced. Plus, fake dating just isn’t for me.
However, Love on the Brain was phenomenal, and has been replaying in my head nonstop after weeks of my first read.
There are so many things to love: the main character Bee, is such a quirky, smart, and wonderful lead, and was very well fleshed out by the author. The love story incredibly beautiful, and the connection between Bee and her love interest was palpable. Above all else, it’s fun! The writing style is humorous and lighthearted, ultimately making it the most I have enjoyed reading in a while!
For any romance fans who love strong female main characters, a stem environment, and a perfect summer read, I would highly recommend.

Ali Hazelwood is an auto-buy author for me. I love her intelligent witty female leads in her book. Her grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers, he falls first tropes get me every time.

My only gripe is that the women always seem to doubt their worth. That they aren’t worth loving or aren’t good enough for the guy. It just is upsetting.

I really liked the story line of this book. Even if it was very predictable in some ways (the ending drama I did not see coming!)
