Either you like this genre or you don't

While I didn't exactly hate the book I didn't actually enjoy reading it. I found the story tedious and most of the time outright silly. For some people this may be why people love Terry Pratchett, I just found the book annoying. Having said that, there were some parts that I found really witty and funny (e.g. the flies talking about history).

Overall, I probably won't be reading any other Discworld novels anytime soon (or ever). It's just not my type of genre.

I can't not give 5 stars because of how wonderful the bits with Bill Door are, but this definitely felt like two different stories in one that never really intersected.

One of my favorite authors and Death is a favorite character. But the middle of the book was a bit disjointed. The concept was cool but I didn’t like the bits with the wizards. The ending was perfect though.
