"Being dead wasn't like falling asleep after all. It was like waking up."

Rest in peace, Sir Terry.

Me fascina la capacidad que tiene Pratchett de, en la misma página, hacerte reír a carcajadas o hacerte llorar a moco tendido. Si no hubiera existido, este mundo sería un lugar mucho más triste. Gracias.

What happens when Death finds out he's mortal too? A funny but thought provoking book.

The thing about Terry Pratchett is that he can write objectively silly things like an entire subplot about evil shopping carts and then hit you with something so moving and profound you spend the rest of the night thinking about it.

If you like irreverence, wit and fun, you can't go wrong with Terry Pratchett. I laughed out loud at several points in this book, yet Pratchett manages to somehow slide philosophy and deeper thoughts on life, death, belief and zombies under a pleasantly pun-filled and inane surface. This book does lose pace towards the middle, but that doesn't make it any less fun of an overall read.
