I was on the fence on whether I should give this book 3 or 4 stars, in the end I decided to give it 4. It was short and quick to get through. Griffin definitely didn't think his plan all the way through- which proved to be his downfall. Well that and the fact that he couldn't just enjoy being invisible; he wanted to- well I'm not quite sure what his end game was, just that he wanted to instill terror.

A satisfying quick read. Would have appreciated a better insight into who the invisible man was before he became invisible, and how the invisibility had changed him but nonetheless as a book written well over 100 years ago, I’m impressed by how gripping this story still is
