Heartbreaking. Gut wrenching. This book is so so so so so important in so many ways. I will never forget Sadie. No more dead girls.

Loved having Sadie’s and the podcast POV — was really cool as an audiobook. I finished in less than 24 hours! Recommend for readers interested in dark stories and true crime podcasts. Check out the content warnings before reading. Only took off 1/2 star because I thought there was a really good ending before the last 30 minutes. Could’ve done without the present day ending.

The story is told from two perspectives. The girl, Sadie, who is on a mission to find a man she calls Keith. The other perspective is a man who is investigating her disappearance. His version is told in a format.

Sadie was sexually abused by a man named Keith. She had a little sister named Maddie and she believes Maddie was murdered by Keith.

On a mission to find Keith. She eventually does but you don’t find out what happens to her. I was not told this book would have a cliffhanger.

The good news is Keith does end up dead.
