Moonbound Boxset 1 contains books 1-4 of the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys.
The werewolf cowboy
Allan and Reyna
I really enjoyed this story. As I have with everything I have read of Krystal Shannans world to date. It was a lot of fun seeing how far both Allan and Reyna would go to get the other to see it their way. Both stubburn and set in their ways, who will break first?
The werewolf bodyguard
Aria and Marco
I loved this instalment. Marco had me from the very beginning. I couldn't stop smiling as I read through the book. I love the sense of humour through all Shannans books and this one did not disappoint. And the variety of her characters, personalities, occupations makes for a unique experience each time. It was also good to see the female take on the lead protective role in this book.
I don't really have any negatives of this story. The banter and relationship that developed between Marco and Aria is a lot of fun and the subplot that underwrites all these instalments continues to develop and is an intriguing one that I think must continue from Krystal Shannans previous series.
The werewolf ranger
Rain and Nora
These instalments just keep getting better and better. What both Rhys and Shannan are doing really well with their Moonbound series is that each character has their own individual and unique personality which translates into a new enjoyable read each time while still following a central storyline in the same world. And the wolves Nora and Rain in this story are no exception. Each have their own baggage and trials they must face but are reluctant to pull the other in until their inevitable fate is revealed.
I really enjoyed both the characters of Nora and rain, both strong and independent and will have to navigate new territory as they deepen their relationship and try to protect the other.
Chasing a wolf
Tomás and Lani
Wow, this instalment of the Moonbound series threw me through a loop. This one, not for the faint of heart. I loved Tomás and Citlani in this story.
Chasing a wolf was a little different to the previous books in the series as we have a very abrupt and unorthodox meeting, the bond developed at different speeds for each wolf, we have a surprise ending and lastly, SPOILER ALERT, we have our first main character fatalities.
Even though this story was a little different then the others and tugs on the heart strings it was also necessary for the story to continue along and mostly enjoyable. All up, a great addition to the saga.
The Moonbound series is definite one you should check out if you a PNR fan and enjoy romance, suspense, action and interwoven storylines.
I was gifted a copy by the authors in exchange for an honest review
