LOVING the plot development we're getting here. I remain not a fan of the history dump, but I concede the information is necessary to understand the plot. And I'm delighted by the additional complication of the plot that is introduced in this book
(I'll be honest, I did not think the vampyres were going to come back after the Bandaged Man died, but I love that they have)

I felt like the first book dragged a little at times - it seemed to take a while to get going - but I did not feel that way at all for this one.

I'm also continuing to like the character development that's happening. Nice to see Yorik growing up, he needs it. The new characters we meet are also fantastic. I especially love Teek and Merien.

Very excited to see how this continues!

this sequal was wonderful there is very little that I can say because it was a very good book but not great. I feel like at time the plot is leading up to something but doesn't pay out in the end as of yet. I still plan on continuing the series but I might have to wait for more to come out.
