dark emotional

while this book was boring at times, the ending did make me sob :)

okay i’d say like first 3/4 of the book was a bit slow BUT THE LAST FOURTH. OH. MY. GOD. i was shocked beyond belief and it was just go go go. i didn’t expect anything that happened and i ended up sobbing near the end.

Have to say I didn't see the end coming. But I didn't cry. Still on the lookout for a book that will make me cry.

The Fabric of Our Souls had all the ingredients to be an emotional knockout, but instead, it left me feeling… meh. For such a short book, it somehow managed to feel dragged out , as if the story was stretching itself thin to hit emotional notes that never fully landed. The dialogue felt stiff, the characters a little too polished, and the chemistry? About as natural as a scripted reunion show. I kept waiting for that moment...the one that would make everything click...but it never really came. It’s one of those books that tries to be profound but ends up feeling like it's trying a little too hard. Not the worst thing I’ve read, but not something I’ll be raving about either.

I cried. All the emotions. Were some parts predictable? Yep. But I don’t care- I loved it all.
