it was ok i guess. didn’t really know what it was gonna be about except there’s a girl who wants to die and a boy who wants to experience life all he can before he dies. didn’t expect there to be a “villain” who’s actually the dudes brother. there was a weird love triangle going on where they never actually did anything altogether so that was a disappointment but i guess it was ok. idk if i’ll read the second book.

What even was this book? Like it wasn’t bad but it seemed like it was trying to be four books at once. It was a thriller, a murder mystery, a dark romance, and also a drama. In addition this author clearly didn’t do research into mental institutions and excuses away the inconsistency with telling us that this institution is “unconventional” but never explains how or why.
