I loved this book. I love the meaning of the title. I loved everything about this book. It destroyed me in the end. I’ve had a more devastated feeling from other books so not a five. I blame my mood while listening to this. I think if I had read it I would’ve been more invested and destroyed. Nonetheless amazing and soul crushing

My goodness, that was fantastic. I had been putting this one off because I was afraid of the hype and the heartbreak... But the hype was real and the heartbreak was worth every moment; I loved these three immensely. I really recommend reading this one blind for the maximum emotional impact, so stop here and go read.

I really loved the way these characters were written. Wynn loved Liam and Lanston wholly, but in different ways and I felt it so deeply. Liam was like lightning to her soul and Lanston was her comfort; both her best friends, safe places and saviors. I loved their III and what it stood for for them.
The twist absolutely shocked me. I couldn't believe it and then couldn't believe it again when even more was thrown at us. The suspense in the last half of this story had me just devouring this book. It was heartbreaking, but so so good and I can't wait to devour Ballad too.
The audio was fantastic. Isabelle Turner and Walker Williams both did an incredible job of bringing these characters to life and I absolutely loved this listen.

This is the perfect rainy day wanting to sit inside and feel the gloom book. It’s not a happy story but it’s so so beautifully written.

This had me guessing through out the entire book & so many different scenarios that yeah I did NOT see that one coming!!! Also it was hard to read about the cutting but only because I have experienced someone close hurting themselves. Usually nothing affects me at all & there was many warnings. I wasn’t as bad as it sounds like. Also my crazy twisted mind was hoping there was some 3 ways happening which sadly all there wasn’t.

Ok so it’s more of a rehab & not forced but I’m sorry Liam was cutting every day & should have been forced into lockdown & not ok to roam free.
Yes there are about of triggers but to be honest it was mostly the vivid cutting that was the hardest to read. Then again everyone handles every topic differently. I feel no book really should be read if you get squeamish at all, no book is word gold that you should ignore your hard passes just cause we say you should read this book.

My heart is aching so badly at the end of this story. There were so many things said that resonated so deeply in my soul. Things I have always needed to hear and emotions that I have felt time and time again. To have them reflected on paper for the first time in my life, had me feeling like Wynn as she experienced them. The balance of light versus dark and the magnetism of opposites struck me so deeply. Believing we need each other and we don’t have to do life alone is such a massive lesson that I am glad Liam, Wynn, and Lanceton learned. Come into this book broken, get put back together and leave broken again.
I could not recommend this book highly enough for an emotional journey.

everything about this book amazed me and resonated with me to my core. it centers around mental health and the struggles some people face while navigating their own illnesses.
i wish i could read this book again, for the first time. it was so beautiful, yet so dark at times, and even though i cried more than once while reading it, i wish i could read it again and again and again.
i will never forget this book and what it taught me.
towards the end of the book, the author had me on the edge of my seat and i couldn’t resist reading more. it was addictive!! such a good read. they know how to make you FEEL things, which i was not expecting at the beginning! i also wasn’t expecting all the action towards the end, so i was pleasantly surprised!
will i read the second book? yes!!! absolutely!
