I really wanted to like this book, but I did not enjoy how there was so much repetitive information from the previous books. It wasn't just that the information was repeated, but that sometimes the lines were taken directly from the previous book and it made me roll my eyes every time. If someone is reading a series they generally know the main characters from the previous stories.

I don't think that this story focuses on the change in the relationship between the main character, it seems like they go from hating each other to loving each other immediately. There was not enough build up for me.

*sniffles* I’m fine... everything is FINE!!

Ughhh! This series!! I can’t get enough!! Now I just have to suffer in purgatory until 202 freaking 1 until the fourth book comes out!

I couldn't finish this book. I didn't realize it was part of a series, so that's on me, but I could still follow the story. What made it unfinishable for me is how the characters spoke to each other. They were all so formal. It was almost like English was not their first language. Ot also repeated things such as pointing out that one of the characters was the richest man in the cove several times, which I found unnecessary.

Wow, so many problems with this book. I was excited to read it because the author had built up this couple and story over the first two books in the series. But I really had a hard time with the hero and the lack of trust that he had in the heroine that led to their 10 year separation. There was also some weird slut shaming, and the ending was totally crazy and went off the rails. About the only thing I did like was how Bryce just let Kaegan have it when he finally realized the truth about what really went on 10 years ago and then decided he and Bryce should just reunite and dared to ask her how she could give up on them so easily. If I think too long about it, I’m likely to drop this to a 2 star so I’ll just leave it with this was a disappointing read.
