super cute! definitely a good book to read after watching season 2 of Bridgerton. With the meddling family, gossip-kind of columnist, and the yearning and angst were chef's kiss.
You know how people are talking about love languages, yeah the characters are basically struggling because of their different love languages.
a romance I would recommend.

I liked the sweater vests. I liked that each of them had strong friendships to run things by. I enjoyed the contrast between his rational approach to relationships and her emotional approach.
The first time Prem referred to his dick as Charlie, I laughed. Not even his Charlie, just Charlie. Like the thing has a mind of its own and is entirely separate from him. And then it was repeated many many times. Eek.

It's hilarious, heartwarming, and Prem is absolutely swoon-worthy (aside from the Charlie bit). Prem's showing up at the D&D game and his cutdown of Kareena's sister was a little over the top.

A complete palette cleanse from Good Mothers. Dating Dr. Dil did everything it set out to do, and I can really appreciate that. A great enemies to lovers story.

Kareena has just started the job of her dreams. Sure it doesn’t pay a lot, but it allows her to support her community in a meaningful way. The paycheck is something her family brings up often, though, especially when she finds out her dad has plans to sell the childhood home that she has always envisioned buying and repairing. One way she knows she can get the money for the down payment is by getting engaged. Her father had set aside marriage funds for her and her sister, so if she can find a fiancé in a few short months — she can get access to that trust and own the home her mom built. Easy, right?

Prem is a successful cardiologist who is finalizing the funds to open a center to support those of his community and improve the health offerings that are often not easily made available. He has a weekly TV program that allows him to lay the foundation for the work his center will be doing, but his reputation needs an immediate boost to secure his plans.

Dating Dr. Dil is a delightful contemporary romance featuring a multifaceted heroine and an engaging hero, and a delightful resolution. Enemies to lovers; fake relationship romance that builds between Kareena and Prem was so entertaining to read.. It was a quick read and left me craving for more. I’m definitely gonna pick up more books by Nisha Sharma.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for sharing this ARC with me in exchange for an honest review.

9.5/10 - ok i freaking loved this book, and also, ever since reading this book i have been dying to try pani puri, anyways, you know me, i LOVE a female lead that is strong and independent and doesn’t need a man, like baddie kareena over here is building an mf car & her own house, like what a baddie, also i love the family elements of this story, and learning more about arranged marriages & what it’s like when you’re trying to decide between a love marriage and an arranged marriage, definitely want to read more from nisha sharma bc that element is chef’s kiss
