I love how this book is a combination of a enemies/lovers, fake dating, & grumpy/sunshine tropes - all my favorites! I also love how the story is set in a theme park which I relate to working in a couple of theme parks. I will say, for a adult or new adult book, this book read VERY young. Maybe because they reference a lot of high school memories in it. Although I found the writing and the situation very cringe and immature, I could probably relate to the situation more than I was expecting so it hit too close to home. Although this isn't my favorite, I still found it refreshing to read a self-published author.

This one is more of a slow burn then the first. I didn't love how the author was slow to let us know what was going on with Quinn, it felt more like how triller writers do it, slowing sprinkling it in. I also found it hard to believe that neither All in all, I still enjoyed the story I read it in one night and am planning to start the third.

Landon nor Lorelei knew about the bullying that happened to Quinn in high school.eliza_sophie's review
