I wasn’t sure what really to expect with this book before I started it, but I ended up loving it. The book was way more sweet than I expected it to be, but not in a bad way. Hades is just everything too, I’m obsessed.

It's modern take on the Greek Gods is amazing, its almost a mafia feel but so great. Hades and Persephone are my favorite Gods and the heat between them is almost enough to burn your fingers turning the page.

Can you shut up and stop asking her permission for every fucking thing u do. Ur supposed to be dark, scary Hades, not some annoying ass simp. I hated every minutes of this book. She was annoying and he was boring.

Wowee.

For all of you that hyped this book up, YOU. WERE. RIGHT.

I devoured it in less than 24 hours.

This was my first Greek mythology retelling and it certainly won’t be my last!!

The world building was so fun! I loved getting a glimpse into the modern city of Olympus, meeting the Thirteen and watching their politics unfold.

But, let’s be honest…I was really here for the spice between Hades & Persephone.
