i surprisingly liked this a lot more than i anticipated. this was HOT, but also adorable at the same time. i equally loved hades and persephone. hades was the perfect balance of everything, he was dominant and protecting and literally just spoke about her with so much admiration and love it was everything

things that get thrown out the window: good writing, proper world building, a coherent story arc, any substantive conflict and character development. but then again, I highly doubt this book is meant for any of that, so don’t take this "retelling" of Greek mythology too seriously.

I loved this spicy retelling of Hades and Persephone. There is a very good mix of plot and spice. I don't feel like the spice was randomly put in the book like some others that I have read. I would definitely recommend this book to those who love spice and story retelling. ♥️

I was so excited for this book after reading several other Hades/Persephone retellings but unfortunately it fell a bit flat. There was almost no background information on how these people started taking these roles and felt the world building was lackluster. The spice was spicy and the banter was enjoyable.

I would like to present Hades as the consent king of the underworld. Not only was this an enjoyable read, it brought healthy light to bisexual icons, displayed amazing consent, healthy respectful limits without drama, peak communication skills when it comes to the spice, and a really enjoyable story with it. Honestly the idea of a modern day set Olympus is intriguing, and the author did not fail one bit. I love the subtle nods to Greek mythology, iconography and cute little Easter eggs throughout.Very steamy I can’t wait to read more in this series.
