Love the undercity! Wish we got more time to explore it. The whole thing, especially their relationship felt a bit rushed tho 🤷♀️

This book had soooo many great reviews and I had high hopes. I was very disappointed. The narrators for the audiobook are not my favorite. Maybe that had something to do with my experience with this book. I could not stand Hades. Especially when he keeps on insisting picking her up in the beginning because she hurt her foot. UGH. Hades and Persephone just don't have chemistry in this one. No relationship building either. Their banter is annoying and didn't interest me at all. This book was definitely not for me. The smut was just mediocre. If you like Hades and Persephone stories then check it out but if you want something with world building, a plot, and super steamy, smutty scenes.. this isn't it.

This was fine. Nothing new in terms of the Hades and Persephone story but plenty of spice.

Aside from the painfully juvenile dialogue, I’m a big fan of the Zeus slander & the god of the underworld is spiiiiicy. Good for Persephone. I wouldn’t return to the Upper City either after spending time with Hades.
