This was a great spicy retailing of Hades and Persephone of Greek mythology.

This book really hit the spot. I haven't read that many Hades Persephone retellings so I found it quite creative. I enjoyed the political struggle aspects of the thirteen, although I would have enjoyed more word building. Hades was so likeable and so was Persephone so I really enjoyed their moments together.

3 and 1/2 stars. It was good but I don’t feel compelled at all to read the next ones in the series

Ooooo what a spicy one! And we love a modern telling of the Olympian legacies. A bit anti-climatic there at the end, but the whole story was juicy and at least happily ended.
