Don’t skip the TWs on this one, wow it’s sad and difficult. But I loved Lyla as a main character, so strong even through the worst life. The Shadow Man is a lot, but the way he feels about her is pretty cute and obviously OTT.

DARK Romance, Stalking, Emotional, 4 🔥

I am so happy right now because I LOVED this one! After I didn’t really vibe with the fourth book in this series I was a bit scared but omg this book was so good!
The plot twists had me screaming
I don’t know how I’m supposed to wait for the last book

This is my least favourite book in the series so far. I felt it was quite rushed and the story could have taken more to be told. It covers a sensitive topic with human trafficking so be warned in case it is your trigger.

In this book we finally find out what happened to Tristan's sister, and she's been through hell and back multiple times. I really wish for her to get the revenge she deserves to the men who did this to her, and I hope she can get her HEA. I don't personally think the Shadowman is the best option for her. He let her get raped just because it wasn't the best moment for him to get his revenge. I don't like him at all.

I'm awaiting the next book in the series where everything should come to an end, and hopefully every couple in the books can have their closure and HEA.

went through all that trauma for no reason… with a book as dark as this, there has to be a better ending surely?

Anyone else conflicted?
I feel like I have a lot of mixed feelings with this one. On one hand I did really like the romance and both of the characters but on the other, I feel like it was a bit underdeveloped and I needed so much more of the romance, of both of their own personal growth and the main guy really did frustrate me at times with his choices. I’m still very excited for the next book and the long awaited reunion!!!!!’
