i adored the first half of this book—the writing was beautiful, the characters were compelling, and i wanted to see how their relationship progressed—but things went downhill pretty quick after that. the second half didn’t click with me at all and i thought the resolution was underwhelming and just…there, i guess??

if i could i’d give the first half a 5/5 and the second a 2.5/5

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. Sure there’s issues and the plot isn’t perfect, but the characters are so deeply drawn and believable you cannot help but love them. A very moving book, way better than the Atlas series (and I loved them!)
