I loved this book. Kane is a nature photographer on assignment in Maple Springs. When he sees Heather for the first time he can't resist snapping her picture. When Kane ask Heather to pose for him she thinks it's a joke. This book was hot and spicy in all the right ways.

This one was very spicy and it was great, the photography scenes were so hot! Just a nice read with an obsessive hero.

This is book four of the Men of Maple Mountain series and the main characters are Heather, who works in a coffee shop and Kane, a nature photographer. Heather has lived in Maple Falls all of her life and finds it fairly boring, until Kane comes in for a coffee. He first saw her whilst he was hidden away on the mountain waiting for a bobcat to show, to get a photo. She was hiking with her best friend Ursula, and he was instantly smitten. As soon as he finished his shoot, he decided to find somewhere to live in the town, so he could get his woman! He ends up with a cabin and works on opening up a studio, and in the meantime he has been stalking Heather and taking pictures of every part of her life, from work, home and everywhere in-between. He has photos of her papered on all the walls of his basement, somewhere he must ensure she never gets to see! One day, after just getting his coffee from her and talking, another customer comes in and looks straight at her boobs instead of her face and makes a smutty comment to her. Kane doesn’t take that well and defends her, making the other man leave and fast!
Heather has never had a man defend her before and he also comments on how beautiful she is and how he would love to take some photos of her. She kids on about him needing a proper model and not someone big ad curvy like her! He puts her right about that and how beautiful he finds her, persuading her to come to his studio the next day, and he will show her exactly how beautiful she is. He tells her to stop looking at the fashion magazines and to believe what he sees! Once in the studio, she starts to feel more confident in her skin the more he tells her how beautiful she is. When she can clearly see the effect she has on him and feels the same herself, things get steamy! The two move on together very rapidly after that and she soon moves in with him, but he has one room she isn’t allowed in. The locked basement! He says he has some expensive camera equipment down there, but she is too curious to ignore the pull of seeing for herself. When she finds out what is behind the locked door, it could break them apart, or allow them to cement their relationship further. This is an instalove short story with a steamy romance and a mountain man finding his perfect curvy woman. Just a heads up. I know these books are supposed to be over the top alphahole mountain men this one went a little too far afield into dark romance territory for me without a warning. MMC stalks her for months, taking pictures of her and then beating up a guy who, while a sleeze, did nothing other than leer at her. I just wasn't prepared.

Kane (H) is out taking wildlife pictures one day when he sees curvy Heather (h) out hiking - now she's his prey. He secretly takes picture in all aspects of her life and maintains a shrine to her in a locked room. Every day Kane comes in to the diner where she works, even scaring off other would be suitors. He convinces her to model for him and adds to his image collection. Their relationship becomes very hot, steamy and intense - just the way they both like it. Eventually Heather becomes aware of his collection and has to decide how it impacts their being together. Hot, stalkerish with HEA.
This was a cute safe stalking romance. I liked the instant connection Kane felt for Heather, his want for her really came across. The story was very steamy and a bit different from other stories by this author and I liked that. This was a really good story.
