i went into this with no expectations and i left absolutely IN LOVE with this world. what an interesting concept and so well executed. what a perfect YA fantasy. i adored the characters, their growth (only the first book btw and they grew so much!) their faults, their relationships with each other ahhhh! the concept of good and bad scythes and where to draw the line between merciful gleaning and abuse in power. i want to see how the scythe system will hold up in the upcoming books. also the little romance with citra and rowan???? i love them your honor. i cannot wait to read the rest of the series!
