I found parts of this interesting but didn't think it was a well put together book. It tried to follow along with a day in the life but got jumbled with all the side stories. I slogged through it because it was for book group and not that long; otherwise I might have given up.

A quick, fun read full of levity and variety. Chris has a unique story that is interwoven with ample dollops of history and ornithology. For anyone that’s an Anglophile and lover of history, it’s worth listening to the audiobook and immersing yourself into the world of Old London. Now that I’ve read the book, I can’t wait to find my own local ravens & study them more-intensely.
