I've read this book many times over the years and it's always good for a pick-me-up.

The novel is not perfect but that doesn't change how I feel for this book. I wish I can be like Pollyanna and find something to be glad about in everything.

This book is a classic for a reason - it is wonderfully written, has engaging characters and an engaging story, and presents the idea of redemptive suffering (at least, in a shallow sense) in a child-friendly way. I think I will be reading this again.
emotional hopeful inspiring medium-paced

ive read this book in albanian before when i was a little kid but couldnt find the physical copy i used to have so i started it in english online. the feeling i get when i remember some scenes is so awesome, yet there are some things i dont remember at the same time. i really love this feeling.
should i say anything more? its just as good of a book now as it was when i read it for the first time as a child! it was one of the very first books i read that actually made me feel something.

I love this movie but had never read this book until now. I'm so GLAD I did!

This was a sweet, sweet classic. I grew up watching the movie, but this was my first time reading the book.
