Good details and pacing. I wanted a bit more drama but good twist at the end.
Ends with Max who ends up being Gabe’s uncles stepping off the cliff after finding out all that happens. Happy ending for pippa

Pippa and Gabe recently moved into a house near a famous cliff called the Drop. Famous because it’s a popular suicide spot, there have been multiple people Gabe has stopped from jumping over the year they’ve been there. One evening, when they see a woman by the edge, Gabe goes out to talk her down…but when Pippa checks back, Gabe has his hands outstretched and the woman is gone. Gabe swears the woman jumped, but Pippa has her doubts and doesn’t know if she should believe what she saw or what Gabe tells her?

This book was definitely interesting and kept my attention throughout. The story moved along and didn’t really have any lulls in the story where things got repetitive or boring. However, I don’t think I would classify this book as a thriller since I don’t think at any point there was any real suspense. For the most part, I didn’t think the twists were unpredictable. For this reason, I’m not really sure this is a mystery either, since it’s easy to guess what happened pretty early on. If that’s something you are looking for in this book, you will be disappointed.

You will NOT be disappointed if you are just looking for an entertaining story that’s a quick read and perfect to bring to the beach. I give this book a solid 3.5 stars.

This has to be one of the prettier covers of my bookshelf, but the story itself fell flat for me.
