I looooove Brandon Taylor’s writing so much, im just not crazy about short story collections. But still raced through and enjoyed the through line stories a lot. He is so good at writing certain types of people.

Worst book ever
Read this for a book club. Absolute garage and call me stupid but I don't get the point of the book at all. Total waste of my time.

There is a lot in here that echoes Real Life, but the storytelling is not nearly as good. I personally enjoyed the continuity in several of these stories, but it definitely seemed a little repetitive. Taylor writes really well on intimacy and being seen. The stories started out strong and sort of fizzled out slowly for me by the end.
