When I was half way through this book I was like it's okay, it will probably get a three star rating then boom 70% in things start hotting up and the action starts getting my pulse jumping too. Loved it, straight into book two now.

On KU. MC read.

This books is so well written, I didn’t want to put it down. Very little spice but such a good story line, guardian of her 15yr old brother, trying to make ends meet. He tried to steal from the MC to save them, she works off his debt and falls in love with the Prez (not as good as my fave mc series but good)

New authors for me,new MC serie to loose myself in.
I love books when we have both points of view as it grows so much the characters, what they think and why are they taking certain decisions in different situations.
It was a bit different from what one is expecting from a MC book where the violence, drugs, crimes and sex scenes are highly encountered ,here it felt more of a slow burn romance with characters that are trying to find their way in a world that maybe real love doesn't exist.
Drew is the President of his MC just released from spending 5 years in prison and everything he thought before going to jail is different ,he is trying to find his way back as the head of the MC and gain the trust of his brothers and to prove them that he will always do everything and anything to protect them.
Ayda it's an amazing heroine that doesn't take crap from anyone when it comes to protect her teenage brother as she is the only one who has to raise him after the loss of their parents. She is hardworking, beautiful and sassy and doesn't hold back any emotion or thought ,doesn't allow anyone to disrespect her or give them the upper hand.
When her brother tries to steal from Drew ,he takes the boy back to his home and never does he thought that he will be so attracted to the woman that is not scared or give a damn about him or his MC.To pay her brother's debt and protect him for not going to prison ,she agrees to work for Drew.
The banter is amazing between these two,the chemistry is amazing and the sex scenes are ones of the best that I have ever read.Although Drew doesn't know what real love is,Ayda is demonstrating him that he is the one for her and they can have their happily ever after even if there are many obstacles to get over to reach that place and accept their feelings.
Heading to the next book <3

I purchased this book initially out of curiosity as MC isn't (wasn't) really my genre, I wanted to know what all the hype was about Drew Tucker....and from the first page I was drawn in not wanting to stop reading, this book is so well written you don't just read it you feel it, every emotion they go through, but I wouldn't expect anything less from these two brilliant authors.

Drew was just out of prison after being inside for five years, he was back home with his brothers, but something wasn't right, something was missing.......enter sassy Ayda with her smart mouth that wanted to annoy, anger and challenge him every time she spoke to him, she wasn't scared of him, she was brave and stubborn...he had met his match!

Ayda was a struggling guardian to her Brother Tate after both her parents had been killed, she worked three jobs to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, she had put her life on hold to care for her brother. Until one night he decided to help or so he thought and brought a whole heap more trouble to her door in the form of Drew Tucker.

Deep down in the book is a love story that is slow to burn but you know its going to happen, along with the violence and brotherhood, and the hatred for the rival gang. You fall in love with Ayda and her strength from the start and the way she pulls Drew out of his shell and open up to her, with her he is a totally different person and she quickly falls in love with him. I really love the character of Deeks, he was loyal to both Drew and Ayda and always willing to help.

I don't know yet if this has changed my mind about MC books but I know that I have to read all the books in this series, I love the work by both of these authors individually, but together they are unstoppable. Off to Amazon now for book 2

Ayda knew to steer clear of the MC’s when they were in town, but with her brother trying to steal from them, she can’t avoid it when Drew Tucker turns up on her doorstep.
Each time Drew tries to intimidate her, Ayda comes up with a smart reply, realising it’s best to keep her mouth shut, Drew agrees not to touch her brother, but she has to pay his debt.
They both feel the attraction to each other but continue to deny it.
Drew’s time inside has left him changed, he’s not sure about anything and takes one minute at a time now, he’s fighting he’s own demons and the guilt he feels over the death of a loved one has him questioning everything.
Drew knows he’s demons are what is stopping him being happy with Ayda, but he doesn’t estimate that she wasn’t going to give up on him that easily.
