Can’t fail to score at max points here. When you look at the cover of a book and wonder how on earth a jazz hands raccoon is going to feature… well, couldn’t have been a better, funnier, more raucous explanation.
Lawson is new to me, but I’m a follower now.
Big love to the woman who has the determination to share the chaos and hilarity alongside the vulnerability and fear.

Awesomely funny book that touches on a lot of really important issues. Laugh out loud anecdotes dot personal stories of battling with anxiety and depression.

Legitimately laugh-out-loud funny.

Hilarious and just fantastic, I'm jumping straight into Jenny's other book and I'm ready to be wowed again.

The ending gave me goosebumps and i just love love loved the stories, it made me laugh and that's all I need to give a book 5 stars really.

I'm tempted to list all the chapter names to see what weird paragraph it'll make but I think someones probably already done that. I'll update with my fave chapters and stand out lines soon.

Fantastic.

There were about 5 chapters in this book that I thought were terrific. The prologue being one. The "We're Better Than Galileo Because He's Dead" one. And a couple right at the beginning. The rest of it I hated and resented for its repetition of the same "Jenny-isms" that we're supposed to find quirky but are trying way too hard. It's essentially Allie Brosh meets Lindy West but not nearly as effortless or quite as funny. I really wanted to like it, too.
