While I get that the book is written in a blog format, I still wanted some thread of a connection between the entries. I enjoyed the book, but when I set it down, the lack of narrative often didn’t compel me to pick it back up. I still adore this writer, her humor and her strength.

You can't laugh quite this much and not give 5 stars.
Make sure you get to We're all better than Galileo chapter for that's the most sincerely honest chapter.
And if the word vagina or the idea of (ethical) taxidermy creeps you out, you might need to pass.
Oh and I haven't read her first book yet so this is just a review of this book as a stand alone.

Funny, yet inspirational. Quality read if you like her humor and know of anyone or are someone going through life with a mental illness.
I had never read her blogs before and honestly knew nothing about her but l appreciate the hilarious honesty
My sister has been suggesting this author for years. She read her first book on a girls roadtrip and was giggling from the back seat. I finally gave in and listened to her book. I laughed so hard I cried. I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe and my husband thought I was choking. She is authentic, and weird, and funny, and caring. She’s so out there and she owns it. It’s about time someone takes the mental health advocacy to a comedic level. Because for some, the brain really does try to kill you and the only way out is to call the little f*cker on its outlandish crap, and then laugh your way out of it.
