Reading this book comforted me more than any pet, blanket, or friend ever has. As someone who suffers in the dark from anxiety attacks and panic disorder but is also obsessed with comedy, I could not relate to a book more. Jenny Lawson made me laugh and cry all at the same time. When I finished her masterpiece of truth and comedic genius, I hugged the book so tight because I wanted to thank it for all it had done for me in the past rough, panic-filled week.

I am reading this books as many times as I can until I die.

I was very skeptical when I stayed this book. I thought it was going to be someone trying too hard to get people to laugh and making up ridiculousness. If this is how you feel when you start... KEEP GOING. I always need reminders about how to get excited about life and be honest about struggles and pain. And asking for help. This book made me laugh and made me cry, and that’s really what it’s all about anyway.

Omg. This book was so freaking hilarious. I could not stop laughing out loud. Even if you don't suffer from a mental illness, her book is still amazing and relateable.

Jenny Lawson explores her lifelong battle with crippling depression and anxiety through a series of blog-like chapters that show the darker side to mental illness, but more importantly, how hilarious life can be when you're a bit odd.

Fantastic! But is anyone surprised?
