I think I've either read and/or seen all of Adam Bock's plays since his first one 'The Typographer's Dream', over 20 years ago now, and he's become one of my favorite contemporary playwrights. His latest effort doesn't disappoint, and is particularly noteworthy in having an all-female cast of 35-55 year old women, a demographic widely underrepresented in plays. It also contains one of the most shocking and unexpected Act One curtains (I presume there'd be an intermission after the second scene, for reasons that would be clear upon reading it but which is impossible to discuss without a major spoiler). Suffice it to say the play is both very, VERY funny, and also tragic as it examines the aftermath of said shocking incident in the lives of five sisters, and the possible culpability of one of them, which changes the family dynamic forever.
