An amazingly beautiful written book. Definite page Turner. I have read all Ashlee books and loved them all but this just hit write and her writing is fantastic in this book.
TikTok recommended, jumped it to the top of my list. Good change of pace from other TBR books. However, sentence structure was wonky and author switching from past, to present tense had me criticizing the story.

Dnf 11% I really wanted to love it but I skimmed through the entire 11 percent. Not enough dialogue and a lot of pointless descriptions . I felt like a lot of it was added for word count which sucks because the books could have been so good

Pick a trope a stick with it, he's your boss, your landlord, your new bff's dad, accidental pregnancy and honestly I cant even remember what else. It was so at odds with some of the beautifully written turmoil the character wrote about in her diary at the start of the book
