I think the ending was completely underwhelming. I’m disappointed considering I picked this book up after getting so many recommendations and hearing good reviews online. I also don’t entirely like the way the author writes his characters and their development, it felt really lacking to me. One thing I did like were Alicia’s letters/diary pov that was scattered throughout the normal chapters.

I really enjoyed my time with this audiobook. The performances were excellent (even on 1.5x speed, lol), and I found myself pulled into the twisted tale easily. Quite liked the twist.
