I had a hard time deciding if I liked this book until the very end. I switched between disliking and liking it a dozen times while reading. The same for the characters: they all have some serious issues, but I guess that’s the whole point of the book, and also why I ended up liking it as much as I did.

This is now an Eleanor and her mum fan account.

I really loved this book. Stories about flawed humans just going through life really is my favourite genre of book. The writing was also fantastic.

Not sure why this book has had so many bad reviews? It might be the lack of any major plot but honestly I admire books that can make mundane day to day life come off the page as beautifully as this one did.

The varying view points from different characters also made this a much more engaging read than it would’ve been of it was only from the perspective of one character.

dnf at page 81… not interested enough in the characters, plot or relationships to continue 😬
