Do you fucking love DRAMA? Are you a MESSY bitch? Do you LIVE for pettiness? This is the classic for you. It's an amazing book about terrible, deranged people ruining each others' lives, and even their deaths, just so they can feel something for one tiny fleeting second of their miserable lives. The most amazing thing about this novel is that it makes you realize that people who think this is a fucking romance are fucking INSANE, and that every romantic "hero" derived from Heathcliff's character is exactly what Heathcliff is: a disturbed, sadistic abuser who does not belong in this world, let alone in any work classified as a romance. Read this just so you can call people out when they try to convince you it's a fluffy lil chick lit novel...bitch this is a fucking nightmare of a book!
No início, estava curiosa para saber a história de Heathcliff; no meio, estava tudo tão dramático que me entretia e se tornou um page turner; no fim, comecei a ficar maçada com a história.

la storia è carina anche se facevo sempre un sacco di confusione con i nomi e i personaggi. non so cosa mi sia pesato, forse la scrittura a volte, però l'ho letto con abbastanza noia, non mi ha mai travolto. In generale storia belle e complessa, però forse un po' ripetitiva... in generale senti sempre un sentimento d'angoscia misto a paura, soffri con i personaggi e per i personaggi. È una storia di condanna che ti travolge e sicuramente ti fa soffrire. Nel complesso la storia è davvero particolare, ma forse un po' troppo, non ho ancora capito perché sia così famoso.
