3.75/5 I loved how intriguing this books sounded! It still wasn’t bad, but the “secret” was so easily guessed and we found out half way. A lot of the problems were repetitive and I wasn’t satisfied with the ending, but I understand that happens!
I loved this book... I'm still thinking about it! I'm not going to drone on about every little thing I loved because I know others who are reading or maybe planning to read and I hate spoilers, but it was the book of the year... at least.

Un excellent roman où l’on se laisse rapidement happer par l’intrigue, au point de ne plus vouloir lâcher le livre. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le personnage de Tess, dont les dilemmes et émotions rendent l’histoire touchante et réaliste. J'ai adoré le fait de raconter plusieurs histoires en parallèle qui finissent par se recoller.
After reading a couple of her books, I'm really starting to like this author, looking forward to reading some of her older books.

i love liane moriarty and it was nice to pick one of her books up again after a few years. the way she structures plot always reels me in with all storylines intersecting for a twist at the end. my husbands secret was well written, a page turner that i was able to easily follow and thoroughly enjoyed.

Interesting and a little suspenseful. I have never had a hot cross bun but after reading this, I want one drenched in butter so her description of food definitely got to me. Again, I figured out most of the secrets before the story revealed them but I still enjoyed reading the story overall.

Lianne Moriartys books are always a classic thriller and pretty easy to read. Big spoiler but I wish she had just handed her husband in because that would’ve made for a much more interesting read hahaha. The ending was pretty guessable , as because it was obvious something would happen to Cecilia’s daughter - eye for an eye etc. i normally enjoy how moriarty has different perspectives per chapter , but I wish it had the husbands perspective instead of the random storyline of another couples affair which added absolutey nothing to it. I finished this pretty quickly but really not one of my faves.
Great book to start off the new year! This book was definitely a page tomorrow and I couldn’t put it down. It talked from the perspective of three different main characters who each took turns about every chapter. Once you finish what one character was going through and thinking you are left on a cliff hanger but you have to get through the other two characters before you got back to that first character to find out what happens next while you’re also left on more cliff hangers from the other two characters. This book really takes you through what’s right and wrong and what could’ve been if we made all these different choices and decisions in life. There is a true love/hate relationship with every character in this book and you try to rationalize the mistakes they made but at the same time you just don’t understand why they would do that or think that way. I will say that some of the first world problems and suburban white mom way of thinking annoyed me but at the same time it still made burn interesting story.
