Maybe a tad above chick-lit. Was intrigued for awhile. Could have been so much better. Idea was clever but follow through subpar. And don't get me started on the Epilogue!!! Lame way to insert something after the book was finished.

Truly enjoyable. I listened to this one during my daily commute. It is perfectly suited to an audio format. I enjoyed the narrator very much as well: Caroline Lee. This is a skilled writer. I appreciated Moriarty's ability to hold the narrative tight, and the movement between three interconnected stories was deftly done. I think that listening to it made these positive elements even more evident. Recommended

not a fan of the writing style, nor the multiple POVs

I believe this listening to this made all the difference. An easy story to follow with a handful of characters who are all seemingly minimally connected by one tragedy from the past.

The story was a solid 3 stars but the ending bumped it up to 4. Excellent ending and especially good epilogue.

This was a fast, easy read and most of the characters quite likeable. It is one that will certainly generate passionate "what would you do?" book group discussions!

This book was a little confusing to start with all the different characters but once I had the multiple family storylines happening at once down, it was hard to stop reading! The nature of the way things unfolded in the opposite of a serendipitous manner (is there a word for that??) was almost too much to handle. I did like the book though, just felt a little abandoned at the end.
