Much easier to follow then some of her others and was hooked from the start. Love how it all just connects together towards the end with twists to throw you off the scent along the way... With the ultimate ending but not quite ended ending. Brilliant

It's been a while since I have read a book that I couldn't put down, Lisa Jewell rarely disappoints me though, and this was no exception. It also put me past my reading goal for the year, which I really didn't think I'd accomplish!
This was one of those books where all the characters were interesting and the plot really kept you engaged. I loved Saffyre and felt she was really insightful for her age. It also shows, that someone can be surrounded by a loving family, but they may still have their issues. I liked Cate too and appreciated how the story ended for her. I also appreciated how complex Owen's character was and how he grew, acknowledged his own mistakes and made a point to change.

I love Lisa Jewell and this did not disappoint! I read it in one sitting, so many twists and turns right from the beginning. What I love about Jewell’s books is that you never expect what’s going to happen and it always fits together perfectly. Completely gripping and maybe my favourite of hers to date.

Invisible Girl is a slow-burning, psychological suspense novel that explores themes of loneliness, hidden trauma, and the dangers of perception. Lisa Jewell crafts a story that doesn’t rely on shocking twists but rather builds a creeping sense of unease as the characters’ paths intersect in unsettling ways. The novel carries emotional weight, especially through Saffyre Maddox’s storyline, which explores themes of abandonment and the long-term effects of early trauma. Jewell’s layered suspense and complex character arcs give the story depth, allowing readers to slowly unravel the hidden darkness behind seemingly ordinary lives. Tense, unsettling, and emotionally charged, Invisible Girl is a compelling read for fans of thoughtful, character-driven thrillers.

Just wasn't in the mood for the story I felt.

were people reading a different book than me because this was not a thriller.
