Another twisty winner of a thriller; Jewell always keeps me guessing and second-guessing through to the very end.
Randomly found this while bored at night and ended up reading it all in one sitting.
I'm a sucker for quick thriller/mysteries, and this one definitely pulled me in quickly.
However, I will say that the ending was a bit anti-climatic and left me feeling a bit disappointed.

This starts fairly confusing, two different storylines with similar named men. They characters are well described. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t figure out what happened. Lisa Jewel has such a great way of bringing it full circle. Great book!
very underwhelming, if I read it physically probably would have DNFd.
Loved every bit of this story. It probably is predictable to those who often read this genre but my guess was totally wrong. I read this one after reading None of This Is True. Honestly I love the style and its so gripping.

So, I finally got some free time to myself this past Sunday and I finished Invisible Girl.
.
It was really slow for me at first. I attributed this to my problem of not being able to focus due to the general horribleness of life right now. But then I realized that I didn’t like any of the characters. This book is more of a dark family drama with an undercurrent of being a thriller/mystery with a side order of what happens when society passes judgment on people without knowing the facts.
.
The story got better the more I read and I became invested in certain characters. But I didn’t love this one as much as I loved The Family Upstairs so I felt a little bit letdown. Invisible Girl is told by three different characters and Lisa Jewell definitely has a way of crafting interesting characters with an interweaving story. I was never quite sure where this story was going. It was an interesting story overall. I’m giving this one 4⭐️ because it did keep me thinking about it for a few days while I gathered my thoughts and I didn’t mind the ending. And the cover is gorgeous. Thank you so much to @atriabooks and @netgalley for my copy.
