I guess I’m not a Lisa Jewell fan. This was ok. I really did want to know what happened by the end. But it dragged on for a long time. One thing that bugged me was the name Roan- is it Rowan or roan? Because one narrator said Rowan and the other sounded like roan. And if it’s Rowan why would an author chose rhyming names for the 2 main male characters? Just weird.
All male characters were creepy or the author hinted that they might be creepy. Even if it turns out they aren’t.
The writing isn’t pretty. Rather juvenile. The characters aren’t fleshed out. Idk. Not my type of book.

I loved this book! Lisa Jewell never disappoints for me. I guessed a couple of the twists pretty early on, but it was still very un-put-downable for me.

Okay, this was an interesting read. I keep going back and forth on my feelings because I liked the setting and Saffyre's character development, but reading from Owen's POV was a struggle, and I felt like there were moments when the story dragged on. BUT, I did want to keep reading to find out the ending, so that says something.

What I loved:
1. The neighborhood setting
