Mentaliti itu penting, strategi & praktikaliti juga amat penting

Inspirational to really push yourself past your comfort zone to be successful. The 3 areas of focus are career, family, and social. Mediocrity and fear causing failure for many folks. It’s an old book and much of it assumes the reader is male, heterosexual, and striving for stereotypical masculine success. To put it bluntly, it’s sexist. You can generalize much of the recommendations to fit other circumstances.

Great motivation and things to think about. And very popular! I checked mine out from the library and couldn't renew because of holds, so I waited and checked it out again. (But it's a fast read really, I just had lots going on)

A must read book before 30. And i am glad i read it. A life changing book indeed. Hands up if you cry after finished reading this book.

Loved it!

Listened to this on tape and it was a great book. At times the voices were a tad monotone but the content of the book is great.

Given that this was published in the 80s, I found this book to be very outdated with the occasional relevant content. Almost every example involved a man and World War Two was referenced way too many times. Also thought there were too many examples per idea which bogged down the main points.

This book really opens your mind to the idea that if you think bigger and believe in yourself, you can achieve more in life. That message is pretty much repeated throughout, but I enjoyed hearing the different experiences and stories he went through—it added depth to the main message.
